Newcastle Solar has designed, constructed, and installed over 50 solar electric systems in Douglas County, Oregon and maintains a perfect 3-Star rating with the Energy Trust of Oregon. We specialize in commercial solar arrays in the 100 kilo-watt to mega-watt scale.

Our team includes knowledgeable professionals, experienced in all aspects of solar power generation, system design, project management, engineering and construction. We specialize in understanding our clients needs and delivering the best product possible to help achieve their solar power goals.

Our foreman Will Schroeder has performed installations on over 40 solar electric systems in Douglas County for Newcastle Solar. He achieved a General A (engineering) contractor's license at age 19 and has worked professionally doing underground electrical, irrigation, grading, and run all types of heavy equipment for 30 years.

Dustin Mellor provides ten years of experience managing high-voltage electrical construction projects. He holds a B.S. in Construction Engineering Management from Oregon State University, an MBA in Project Management, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. His knowledge and experience streamline planning and execution of your project. 

Ross Tinker brings a variety of construction experience to Newcastle Solar. His installation expertise rounds out our all Douglas County employee team.
